So I joined my first Coop Gallery

For a long time I have wanted to get a show in a gallery to hang all my mixed media work. I have all these llamas, cats, bulls, bison...etc....just sitting in my basement and hanging on my walls. I have never been able to see them all hung up at once. I am super curious to see what they will look like when all hung together.

So, I joined a coop gallery in Lakewood, CO called Core Art Space. I chose this gallery because it felt like home. The people are welcoming and interesting. The walls are giant and white - just waiting for me to splash some color. I have always been drawn to spirals.

They say I can have my first show at the end of March. It is sooner than I thought I would be able to do what I've been wanting to do. I am excited and extremely nervous. What if I can't fill the walls? What if my work looks terrible all together? What if it doesn't make sense all together? I think this is a moment for me to give a middle finger to the talking chicken.
