This yellow caboose lives in a chain link fence in Denver, Colorado. I wanted to see it roaming free in the prairie instead of sitting in isolation. 
 
All of my oil paintings begin with 3 layers of gesso on Jack Richeson hardboard. Most of my work is done en plein air, though sometimes I paint in the studio from photos if I can’t paint from life. I finish each painting with 2 layers of Winsor & Newton Gloss Varnish. My work is signed by hand on the back, and has a card with my information attached.
