Camie Rigirozzi, Artist

I am a self taught artist looking for opportunities to speak my truth into the world. I make art on a daily basis, and continuously strengthen my style and voice. I have diverse skills in digital and physical media.

I went to college for Anthropology and Criminal Justice and finished my Bachelor's Degree in 2004. After working in the Criminal Justice field for a year, I worked as a massage therapist for 11 years. When the pandemic hit, I quit massage to pursue a full time job as an artist. I now work in the Criminal Justice field to pay the bills while pursuing art on the side. More information about my professional life outside of art can be found on my LinkedIn page.

Member, December 2022 - Present

Coordinating and executing solo exhibitions from concept to completion, including communications, scheduling, and installation; Partnering with the Public Relations team to develop outreach strategies, write press releases, and distribute materials to media outlets; Managing and updating website content to reflect current exhibitions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with promotional efforts.

Member, Fall 2017 - Present

Coordinated and install art exhibitions, managed website updates, and designed supporting materials such as forms and show cards; Facilitated member and public engagement through clear communication, community outreach, and participation in meetings and events; Mentored new members on exhibition practices and develop digital tools to streamline organizational processes.
